KeepMeWise ("KeepMeWise", "we", "us", or "our") is a personal life-management application at keepmewise.com that helps you keep your health, finances, habits, tasks, calendar, relationships, and journal in one private place. Because some of that information is deeply personal, we take privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide KeepMeWise. The large majority of your data is content you choose to enter.

Account information

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with a provider, the identifier returned by that provider). We also store account preferences, subscription status, and basic settings.

Content you create

• Health data, vitals, sleep, workouts, food and hydration, mood, medication, menstrual cycle, and hormone logs.
• Financial data, accounts, transactions, budgets, and goals you record manually.
• Journal entries, personal notes and reflections.
• Productivity data, habits, tasks, and calendar events.
• Relationships, people and contacts you choose to track.
• Calendar, events you create, and, if you connect it, events synced via Google Calendar.

Connected services

If you enable the optional Google Calendar integration, we receive OAuth tokens and the calendar event data needed for two-way sync. We request only the scopes required for this feature and use the data solely to sync your calendar. You can disconnect at any time, which revokes our access.

Usage and technical data

To keep the service secure and working we process limited technical information such as device and browser type, app version, IP address, and basic in-app events (for example, errors and feature usage). We do not use this to build advertising profiles.

Payment data

Subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment provider (a merchant of record). We receive confirmation of your subscription status and limited billing metadata. We do not store your full card number, payment details are handled directly by the payment processor.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve KeepMeWise and sync your data across your devices.
• To power optional features you turn on, including the AI coach and Google Calendar sync.
• To process subscriptions, billing, and related notices.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
• To communicate with you about your account, security, and material changes to the service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health, financial, or journal content for advertising.

3. AI features and your data

KeepMeWise includes an optional AI coach. When you use it, the relevant content needed to answer your request (for example, recent habits or logs you ask about) may be processed by us and by a third-party AI provider acting on our behalf to generate a response. AI suggestions are advisory only and are never used to take actions on your account without your confirmation. We do not authorize AI providers to use your personal content to train their general models. If you prefer not to have your content processed this way, simply do not enable or use the AI features.

4. Third-party processors and sharing

We share data only with service providers who help us run KeepMeWise, and only as needed for them to perform their service. These currently include:

• Cloud hosting and infrastructure, to store and serve your data.
• Payment processor, a third-party merchant of record that handles subscription billing.
• Email provider, to send account, security, and transactional messages.
• Google Calendar, only if you connect it, and only for calendar sync.
• AI provider, only when you use AI features, to generate responses.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition (in which case we will notify you). We do not sell or rent your personal data.

5. How we protect your data

Security is core to KeepMeWise. We apply field-level AES-256-GCM encryption to particularly sensitive fields, encrypt data in transit using TLS, hash passwords, and limit internal access on a need-to-know basis. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards and to notify you of breaches as required by law.

6. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete individual records they are removed from your live data and purged from backups in the ordinary course. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, for tax or legal compliance).

7. Your rights and choices

Your data is yours. Within KeepMeWise you can:

• Access and review all the content you have entered.
• Export your data, including via CSV export.
• Correct or update your information at any time.
• Delete individual records or your entire account.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or similar laws, including rights of access, portability, correction, deletion, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email [email protected].

8. Cookies and sessions

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure (for example, session and authentication cookies). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but some features may not work if you do.

9. Children

KeepMeWise is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old (or 13 where permitted by local law with appropriate consent) to use the service. We do not knowingly collect data from children under these ages; if we learn that we have, we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

KeepMeWise may be operated from, and your data processed in, countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) as required by applicable law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of KeepMeWise after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
